Challenge
The customer needed a roof replacement. The condition of the roof was in question and when we arrived, we could tell that this old asphalt roof was falling apart at the seams.
The challenge here was that the last time this roof was replaced, the former company didn't remove the previous shingles. Once we were on the roof, you could see areas where the shingles were missing and the original roof was still there. Due to this negligence, it's no wonder why this roof was peeling off and needing a replacement.
Solution
Fortenberry Roofing took on this job to make sure the customer had their new IKO Dynasty Shingle roof done right! As shown in these photos, you can see the work that goes into replacing a roof the correct way. Above the roof sheeting, we use Klaus Roofing Ice & Water protection to make sure the elements stay out of your home. We also use SealoronXT underlayment to give the roof the maximum protection needed. Above that, we then add the started shingles before we lay down the IKO shingles.
