Garage Roof Replacement
Along with the house, the garage and a small shed in the backyard qualified to get re-roofed, as well.
Catch All Protection
Fortenberry Roofing likes to use a catch- all protection system to ensure that all debris from the roof is caught and to protect the clients house and surrounding items during the roofing process.
Out With The Old
The roofing crew removes all of the old 3-tab shingles.
Underlayment
Once the old shingles were removed, new underlayment was installed as well as ice and water shield underlayment in the valleys of the roof to ensure to keep water out and off the foundation of the roof.
IKO
After the new underlayment was installed, the re-roof crew began to install the new IKO Cambridge Shingles in the color Beachwood.
New Vent Pipe
All the vent pipes previously on the roof were removed and replaced with new vent pipes. They were flashed properly to ensure that no water or debris can get through to the foundation of the roof. The turtle vents were also replaced.
Fresh IKO Shingles
Here is the shed that was also included in the re-roof of the property. It was re-roofed with the same 30 year IKO Cambridge shingles as the house and the garage.
