Insulation Install
Next, they installed insulation batts to fit the open spaces.
Synthetic Underlayment
Along with installing ice and water shield underlayment, the crew installed IKO synthetic underlayment to the new roof to ensure that no leaking would occur.
New Roof
Finally, the crew was able to install new shingles that matched the shingles of the existing roof.

Here is a before and after of the completed skylight removal and roof repair. Turns out the repair was a success and the homeowner was pleased with the outcome!
New Decking
After the insulation was installed, the crew applied decking over it. Now the skylights are officially closed off.
Ice and Water Shieid
Once the decking was installed, they applied ice and water shield underlayment.
Ready for Repair
The repair team first removed the skylight dome and frame. Then they cleaned and repaired the area to get it ready for the rest of the repair.
