Upon inspection, it was discovered that her attic lacked sufficient insulation and had damaged walls allowing air leakage. To rectify this, Technician Leo V. installed a Radiant barrier to reflect summer heat out and retain winter heat.   Additionally, the crew added blown-in insulation of the recommended R-38 amount, which equates to 10 inches. To further enhance energy efficiency all HVAC and exhaust vents were sealed using a fire retardant foam.
